Kay Von Hendley Harrison born July 22, 1938, passed away peacefully in her sleep October 29, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Paul Hendley and Roberta Hendley and brother, Robert Hendley. She is survived by her son, Jackie Bob Harrison, and his wife, Toni Harrison; grandchildren Kaci Iley and her husband Jacob Iley, Lance Broadway, Lauren Blackburn and her husband Wade Blackburn, and Kellye Harrison; Great-grandchildren Gage and Brooklyn Iley, Coy, Caris, and Cadence Blackburn; Sister-in-law Debbie Hendley-Pixler; Nieces and Nephews Ryan Hendley, Robyn Spence, Angie Laningham, and Tyler Hendley and...

Kay Von Hendley Harrison born July 22, 1938, passed away peacefully in her sleep October 29, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Paul Hendley and Roberta Hendley and brother, Robert Hendley. She is survived by her son, Jackie Bob Harrison, and his wife, Toni Harrison; grandchildren Kaci Iley and her husband Jacob Iley, Lance Broadway, Lauren Blackburn and her husband Wade Blackburn, and Kellye Harrison; Great-grandchildren Gage and Brooklyn Iley, Coy, Caris, and Cadence Blackburn; Sister-in-law Debbie Hendley-Pixler; Nieces and Nephews Ryan Hendley, Robyn Spence, Angie Laningham, and Tyler Hendley and their children as well as many supportive and caring friends in her neighborhood.

Kay Harrison was born in Cooper, TX, raised in Abilene, and later moved to Dallas and then settled in Grand Prairie, Texas. She retired from Vought Aircraft after 32 years of service where she worked as a manager of overhead planning and controls. She volunteered numerous hours with The Friends of the Grand Prairie Library where her love of books was shared.

Kay devoted her life to raising her only son and encouraging his love of all sports. She always had a smile on her face when she was spending time with him and his family. She was known for her exceptional organization skills, beautiful handwriting and her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a generous friend to all who knew her.
