Juston Glenn Holton Jr. passed away June 16, 2017. He was born September 27, 1932 to Edith and Juston Holton in San Diego, CA.

Glenn was a military child who moved to Grand Prairie, TX while in high school. He graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1950. He then attended Arlington State College for a year where he was enrolled in their ROTC program. After a year he left school and joined the US Navy where he served four years during the Korean War. Juston Glenn Holton Jr. passed away June 16, 2017. He was born September 27, 1932 to Edith and Juston Holton in San Diego, CA.

Glenn was a military child who moved to Grand Prairie, TX while in high school. He graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1950. He then attended Arlington State College for a year where he was enrolled in their ROTC program. After a year he left school and joined the US Navy where he served four years during the Korean War. When he returned home he married Mary Ann and they had four children. Glenn worked with the US Postal Service in Grand Prairie, TX for 45 years before retiring.

Glenn was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, TX and the National Rifle Association. His passion was trotline fishing for catfish, his family and children. He was a juror on the Jack Ruby trial in 1963 and a police officer reserve in Grand Prairie, TX. Later in life he remarried Walterine Holton and they adopted 3 children and fostered numerous children. Glenn was extremely friendly and never met a stranger. Glenn enjoyed playing Santa for many years while working with the post office.

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents Edith Carrie Coward Holton and Juston Glenn Holton Sr., son Juston "Buddy" Glenn Holton III. grandson Kelly Glenn Holton, wife Walterine Day Holton.

He is survived by children: Mark Wayne Holton, Julie Ann Holton, Rory Jay Holton, Rachelle A Holton, Gennea R Holton, Miggy Daye Holton; grandchildren: Jason Paul Holton, Daniel Wayne Holton, Chris William Holton, Elissa Rose Holton, William Holton, Leslie Ann Rendon, Rory Jake Holton, Sarah Greenwood; great-grandchildren: Melody Holton, RJ Rendon, Jonathan Cooper Rendon, Eleanor Maddie Rendon, Chase Moore, Hunter Moore; siblings: Rodney Gerald Holton, Barbara Jean Holton Bone.

Lunch will be provided at Freetown Road Church of Christ, 1038 Freetown Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75051 following the committal service at DFW National Cemetery.
